Resolution criteria
This market will resolve in favor of the swimmer who is named the winner of the Men's 50m Freestyle at the 2026 World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m), scheduled for December 1-6, 2026 in Beijing, China, per the rules of World Aquatics. Otherwise, the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If a swimmer is disqualified, withdraws, or is otherwise ineligible to participate in the listed event per the rules of World Aquatics, the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If two or more swimmers tie for first place in the final per the official results (a dead heat), this market will resolve in favor of the tied swimmer whose family name (surname) comes first in alphabetical order. If that swimmer is not listed, this market will resolve to “Other”. If the 2026 World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) are canceled, postponed, or no winner of the listed event has been declared by December 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from World Aquatics; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
