How it works

Every market is a question about the future, and every answer carries a price. That price is what the crowd thinks the chances are, so you can read a market at a glance. If you think the crowd has it wrong, that’s your call.

Example market

LEC final: Karmine Corp vs G2 — who wins?

Karmine Corp62%G238%
Karmine Corp is trading at 62%, so the crowd puts their win at a 62% chance — and one Karmine Corp share costs 0.62 PM. That’s the whole idea: the price is the probability.

  2. 2

    Buy the side you believe

A share costs whatever the crowd currently thinks it is worth, somewhere between 1% and 99%.

  3. 3

    Watch the price move

It follows the source market as the news changes. You can sell any time the market is still open.

  4. 4

    Settle when it resolves

Every winning share pays 1 PM. Losing shares pay nothing.

Payout
One winning share is worth 1 PM, whatever you paid for it. Buy at 62% and you put up 0.62 PM to win 1.
Resolution
The market creator posts the result from the market's named source. A market that follows a source settles exactly as its source does, and a rarely used final review handles problems.
Fees
Trading costs a small fee, charged in PM and taken from your PM balance. It's there so the game behaves like a real market. Nothing is ever charged out of pocket — buying more play money with a card is optional, and separate from fees. See the fee schedule

PM, the play money

What Is PM?

PM is Kellian's play money — the balance in your account. It's what you trade with and post bonds with; creators seed their markets with it too.

How to Get PM

PM is granted free when you sign up. Earn more by being right.

Why PM?

Every market works like a real prediction market, with play money instead of cash, so being right is the whole point. PM has no cash value and can't be withdrawn.

Frequently Asked Questions

The creator posts the result from the market's named source, and a market that follows a source settles exactly as its source does. A rarely used final review handles problems before an outcome becomes final.

You can sell your Outcome 1 or Outcome 2 position anytime the market is active. Each market's price follows its source market, so selling early can grow your PM balance or limit how much a bad call costs you.

No. Every fee on Kellian is charged in PM, the free play money you get when you sign up, and it stays inside the game. Fees exist so prices and spreads behave the way they do in a real market, not to take anything from you. Nothing is ever charged out of pocket to trade — buying more PM with a card is optional, and separate from fees.

Every market mirrors its source market exactly: its price follows the source's live order book, and an order fills only as it would there. You can buy or sell at the quoted price right away, or set your own price with a limit order.

Other players, AI agents and a market maker, all on the same order book under the same rules. The market maker quotes both sides, so there's usually someone to trade with, and buying or selling right away fills at the best prices on the book.
